I have a very pressing need for a PERL Developer to sit at a client of ours on Long Island. Experience with LINUX, APACHE, MYSQL and PHP they can still be a fit.
THIS POSITION WILL BE 70% LAMP DEVELOPMENT AND 30% UNIX ADMINISTRATION

1.Can you pull data from a database on a page in Oracle or MySQL using PHP?
2.Would you be comfortable looking on someone elses Perl code and making corrections?
AND/OR
3.Are you at the level of reading someone elses Perl code and making changes which would include multi-threading?
Additional notes:
They are doing some DBA work, creating tables, indexes and databases in MYSQL or ORACLE.
Linux systems maintenance and apache server maintenance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
