We are looking for a skilled individual who understands payroll processes, union reporting requirements and certified payroll reporting and works effectively in a team environment.
This role has potential for growth into a full-time position.
Responsibility:
Review timesheets and calling in payroll Post weekly payroll in QuickBooks Prepare monthly certified payroll reports Process weekly union benefits & participate in union audits Obtain and maintain subcontractors insurance certificates Deal with payroll queries from employees and managers Support the accounting department
Qualifications:
3 year minimum experience with payroll & bookkeeping with Union Contractor Familiar with union reporting requirements & certified payroll Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills Good math & problem solving skills Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and QuickBooks Associates degree or higher preferred Notary Public a plus Job Type:
