Verifying vision insurance benefits and coverage Educating patients on coverage and additional payment options such as financing or cash/credit payments Fitting patients with appropriate frame and lens packages along with accurate measurements of PD, segment height, OCs Submitting contact lens and trial sample orders to optical manager Entering precise data regarding orders into online lab platforms Calling and following up with patients regarding order status, including pick up and possible delays.
Collecting payments for purchases as necessary Filling out daily ledger of all transactional history Up-keeping of optical area and work station, as well as optical lab room Inventorying frames as needed Employee should display autonomy and be knowledgeable of handling a variety of situations that may be presented with little supervision.
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Spanish speaking a plus.
